Blue Earth County DFL Picnic
When: Wednesday, August 20th at 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: Sibley Park, Mankato, Shelter #2 (by the bandshell & farm)
We'll start gathering at 4:30 PM. BBQ will be provided. We're encouraging everyone to consider bringing their own reusable picnic supplies such as plates, silverware, etc., but of course, we'll provide these things too.
There will also be a live auction - so if you're known for your cookies or a special cake or handcraft or just have something fun -- feel free to donate it and we'll auction it off to raise funds for the party unit to support our candidates in 2026!

Nicollet Co DFL Picnic
Our annual picnic is Monday July 21st from 5:30-7:30 pm. We will be in the shelter at Benson Park, off Timm Road on North Mankato. You will have the chance to hear from our area candidates for office: Nick Frentz, Jake Johnson and Leah Hanson.
We will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments, and water. Bring a dish to share if you are able.
We are conducting our annual fundraising auction during the picnic. So if you have items to donate, you can contact me or just bring them to the picnic! It is also our major fundraising event for the year to help us pay for things like parade entries, county fair booth and supporting our local candidates. If you can't make it and still would like to donate, you can do so here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/nicollet-county-democratic-farmer-labor-party-1
This year we are also doing a food drive for the St. Peter Area Food Shelf. Please consider donating some nonperishable food or personal care products. We know with the Trump bill that just passed, that people already struggling to afford groceries will have an even harder time.
This event is always a good time and a great way to gather with fellow DFLers! Hope to see you there!
